Wednesday: No high school or professional events slated for the day.

Thursday: Clear Falls will be among the boys’ basketball teams taking part in the Houston vs. The Nation tournament that will pit a host of Houston area teams against a select group of the nation’s top high school basketball squads.

Clear Springs travels to Fort Bend Travis for a girls’ soccer scrimmage that begins at 7:00pm.

The Rockets open a four-game trip out west with a visit to the Clippers at 9:30pm. Both AT&T Sportsnet and TNT will have coverage of the game, with AT&T Sportsnet hitting the airwaves with the pregame show at 8:30pm.

Friday: A busy day and night of boys’ basketball starts with Texas City at Pasadena at 4:00pm, followed by Friendswood at Strake Jesuit at 4:30pm. Fort Bend Austin at Clear Brook and Clear Creek at Goose Creek Memorial are both 5:00pm starts, while East Chambers visits state-ranked La Marque at 6:30pm. Clear Springs at Alief Taylor and Galveston Ball at Hitchcock each tip off at 7:00pm. State-ranked Dickinson will take part in the day-long Christmas Crossover event at St. Thomas in Houston.

In girls’ basketball, Texas City at Galveston Ball starts at 2:45pm, with Clear Brook at Clear Falls, Clear Springs at St. Agnes and Friendswood at Goose Creek Memorial each starting at 4:00pm. Dickinson at Clear Creek and Santa Fe at Galena Park close out the schedule at 7:00pm.

A pair of boys’ soccer scrimmages are on tap with Santa Fe at Clear Creek and Clear Falls at Lamar both beginning at 7:30pm. 

One girls’ soccer scrimmage is also on the slate with Santa Fe at Clear Creek at 5:00pm.

Saturday: The Texans can move one step closer to the AFC South title when they visit the Buccaneers at 12:00pm. A win, coupled with a Titans loss to the Saints on Sunday, would lock up a playoff spot for Houston. The game can be seen on NFL Network.

The Rockets continue their swing out west with a clash against the Suns beginning at 8:00pm. NBA TV will have the game along with AT&T Sportsnet Southwest, which starts its coverage at 7:30pm with the pregame show.
