IMAGINE, IF YOU WILL a Sunday and/or Wednesday when the area’s good news no longer exists.
The story about what Santa Fe ISD is doing to enhance the education of its students? Gone.
Stories about individuals going above and beyond their means to contribute to the good of Galveston County? Not there.
Nature Notes? Pastor Holland? Recipe of the Week? Nope. Try again.
This is a reality that can happen if we at The Post Newspaper no longer have the wherewithal to publish in the near future. Being Your Community Paper does require the ability to generate money, and if the ad dollars aren’t there, then chances are we may not be, either.
We at The Post Newspaper are committed to providing businesses the opportunity to display in our paper and website. Unlike most newspapers in the area, our rates are business-friendly. We understand the current environment has caused the majority of businesses to scale back, which is why we are offering 3×5 ads for only $100 per month during this national pandemic.
Think about it. At $100 per month, your business can be seen throughout Galveston County on an average of just $12.50 per issue. Is it worth one less pizza delivery to not only help get your business seen but to help assure one of the nation’s few Christian-based, all-good-news papers remains afloat?
Ponder this as well: if you commit to advertising with us during this time, we will not forget you when things get better. When costs begin to zoom up once we find normalcy, The Post Newspaper will grandfather you into $100 per month advertising.
We want to help our community thrive, as we love being the counter for other outlets who are filled with gloom, political rancor and a lack of room when it comes to sharing the everyday experiences of the heart of Galveston County. However, it requires your help.
If you own a business, contact us. If you know of someone who owns a business and is looking for more exposure, we are here for you.
We don’t want to stop supporting you, but we need the commitment from you to support us.
Brandon C. Williams,
Editor, The Post Newspaper
