Below are the networking groups and task forces that will be active in 2021…

WOMEN IN BUSINESS: Monthly luncheons for networking and mentoring. This group will also form a committee to judge nominations for the 1st Annual TC-LM Women In Leadership Awards.

YOUNG PROFESSIONALS: Created for business men and women ages 21 to 45. Monthly events include luncheons with mentors/speakers and after-hours social events, plus service opportunities.

EVENT VOLUNTEERS: Opportunities to serve occur at the Industrial Trade Show, Golf Tournament, Shrimp Boil, Bayou Fest and other events. Check the event calendar and sign up to get involved!

GOLDEN DIVISION: Retirees who want to put their years of experience and expertise to use through volunteer service with the Chamber and community. Monthly social meetings will resume mid-year at the Chamber!

ADVOCACY COMMITTEE: This committee maintains rapport with legislative bodies on the local, state and national levels. Input is gathered from all Chamber members in an annual survey, and a task force develops Legislative Policy Statements and our community’s top legislative priorities.

CHAMBER CHAMPIONS: These volunteers act as the face of the Chamber in the community by referring new members, attending events, and welcoming new businesses at ribbon cuttings and groundbreakings. They enjoy the rewards of making new contacts and strengthening business relationships.

HOSPITALITY ALLIANCE: The group is dedicated to getting people in the hospitality, food & beverage, and tourism industries together to network, exchange ideas, offer mentoring, and promote events in the community. It’s all virtual right now, but will resume in-person meetings mid year.

NON-PROFIT COUNCIL: This group keeps nonprofit pros informed & empowered to create a positive environment and support each other in advancing the missions that benefit this community.
