The Better Business Bureau of Greater Houston and South Texas’ Board of Directors congratulates Taunya Painter for being named Chair of the Board for 2021. Mrs. Painter, Attorney at the Painter Law Firm PLLC, previously served as Vice Chair of the BBB Board of Directors.
Mrs. Painter was recognized by H Texas Magazine as one of the Top Lawyers in Houston from 2011-2019. She has significant business and transactional experience with large and small companies, in both domestic and international matters. In her law practice, Mrs. Painter draws from her unique experience to provide sound, practical legal advice to her clients on business issues, including formation, legal compliance, transactions, and international sourcing and expansion. She also works on a variety of the firm’s litigation matters.
The Better Business Bureau is a 501(c)(6) non-profit organization. BBB Accredited Businesses must adhere to strict guidelines and settle disputes in a fair and efficient manner. The BBB issues reports about companies to the public on both Accredited and non-Accredited Businesses and works closely with the media to alert the public about the latest scams affecting the marketplace. In addition, Bureau staff cooperates extensively with local, state and federal law enforcement to eradicate fraud.
