GRAFTING PECANS

Explore the art and science of grafting pecan trees for home orchard improvement. Galveston County AgriLife Extension Horticulturist Stephen Brueggerhoff will present pecan biology and discuss rootstock and scion varieties for the Texas Gulf Coast. We will host a grafting demonstration using four-flap and bark inlay methods. ***Note: Registration is limited to 15 people***

Galveston County Master Gardener & Entomologist Specialist Hedy Wolpa will present information and photos of beneficial and pest insects common to our gardens and landscaped yards.
