Keep Fighting, Change Is Yours

Keep fighting, do not give up if you do not like the way things are going and you believe Satan has his hand in it. It is time to tell Satan “enough is enough” and he’s got to leave you alone. James 4:7 — Submit to God first then resist the devil and he will run from you.

When things seem overwhelming, look to God for help. When you feel weak, He is your strength. Take one day at a time. Do not look at the whole picture or situation. It can look too big and get you down, stressed, and you want to give up. Psalm 91:15-16– God tells us to call on Him and He will answer us and will be with us in trouble, and will deliver us and honor us with long life. Psalm 121: 1-2 — tells us to look to the hills from where our help comes from, the Lord who made heaven and earth.

Success and victory is given to those who keep going no matter what it looks like. You can not win if you give up. The battle is not yours’. God waits for you to ask Him for help. Give every situation, every obstacle, every bad report to God. It is too heavy of a load for you to carry by yourself. 1 Peter 5:7 — “Cast all your care upon Him for He cares for you.”

Keep your eyes focused on your Helper. Stand on the promise of what God told you. Do not be moved by what you hear or see. As a woman the doctor tells you are pregnant and going to have a baby. In the very beginning you do not see or feel the baby. But you trust the doctor’s word. You are excited and tell people you are expecting a baby. You begin to make changes in your lifestyle to prepare for the word the doctor told you by changing your eating habit, buying maternity clothes, preparing a room for the baby, buying baby clothes, and furniture. You do all of this from what the doctor told you.

What has God said to you? He gives you a word or an answer for what you have been pleading for, crying out, or praying for. You have found examples of people in the Bible who God came through for. God will also put people across your path that can give you their testimony of how He came through for them. But when things look the opposite of what God said, what do you do? Do you trust God, or do you doubt God? Do you keep fighting for it or do you give up? Why is it easy to trust the unseen baby but not trust the unseen word or promise of God when He asks us to operate in faith?

This is an opportunity to seek God’s face and ask Him to help you trust Him more. When you do this, you will be led more to keep fighting for a change. Change is in your hands with the help of God.
