After more than 17 years, The Post Newspaper will be shutting down its office doors at 501 6th Street in Texas City on Monday.

“We’re only leaving the building. The paper will continue its commitment to providing refreshing and interesting stories and information for our readers,” said Brandon C. Williams, Managing Editor of The Post Newspaper. “We made the decision to go remote in order to give us more flexibility.

“This building has countless memories,” Williams added. “Our office was a unique place that offered our readers and advertisers always felt added to the essence of what we did. It is a very difficult moment for each of us, but we also know that when God closes a door, He does open another.

Additional information on how to contact The Post Newspaper will be available in the Wednesday, August 2, 2023 edition.
