Astros go from Brewers to Birds

THE QUIET OF JUNE continues, although the Astros offer fans a pair of games at Minute Maid Park. The beginning of the new week also has a home match for the Dynamo, which offers some variety for area sports fans.
Sunday: Wade Miley (5-3, 3.39 ERA) gets the start for the Astros in the weekend finale against the Orioles, who will counter with strikeout artist Dylan Bundy (3-6, 4.64 ERA). AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will have the game beginning at 1:10pm following the pregame show starting at 12:30pm.
Monday: Nothing huge on the sports schedule (although sports camps are up and going), but there is the chance of history being made in Toronto, site of Game 5 of the NBA Finals. The Raptors came into Friday’s Game 4 with a 2-1 series lead over Golden State, so if the Warriors fall behind 3-1, the Raptors would have the chance to be the first non-American team to hoist the NBA title. ABC-13 will have the game live starting at 8:00pm
Tuesday: After an off-day, the Astros resume their home stand when they welcome the Brewers for the first of a quick two-game set. Brad Peacock (5-3, 3.20 ERA) will get the nod for Houston while Milwaukee turns to Jimmy Nelson (0-1, 12.00 ERA), who will be making just his second start after missing much of the past two seasons with Tommy John Surgery. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starts its pregame coverage at 6:30pm before the first pitch is thrown at 7:10pm.
The Dynamo return to action when they host the Austin Bold at BBVA Compass Stadium at 7:00pm. No local telecast with this match, although those with the ESPN+ package will be able to watch.
