That is the message the Servolution Team is carrying out to every church and individual who wants to tackle the job of “10,000+ homeowners still waiting in their homes, with studs for walls, still fighting mold, holding on to Hope that help is coming!” said Ingrid Clark of St John’s Methodist Church of Texas City.
Jervie Windom of Resonate Church will be visiting area churches to share the size and scope of work still needing to be done. “Resonate came to Texas City expressly to answer the call of Harvey victims and to join a community in need at a time when help was desperately needed. We are still here …and so is the need.”
August 25th will mark the two-year anniversary of the day Hurricane Harvey made landfall in Texas. A lot of good people have come and gone from our state since then, but recovery is ongoing. The torch – or the tool, really – has been mostly passed from national response organizations to local, community-based recovery groups focused on recovery and building resilience, almost literally, from the ground up.

– Volunteers under 18 MUST be accompanied by an adult and NO volunteers under the age of 12.
– Meet at the 4B Warehouse, 144 Park Ave, League City 30 minutes before your shift begins.

First Choice: 8:00 to 12:00
Second Choice: 12:00 to 4:00
