THE CITY OF LA MARQUE now has a new sign for everyone to see. A collaboration between the La Marque Developmental Services, the La Marque Economic Development Corporation and the new and improved Timewise gas station resulted in the sign making its debut on Thursday afternoon. Located on the intersection of FM 1764 and I-45, drivers will now clearly see that La Marque is indeed the “Gateway to the Gulf.”
The sign’s timing couldn’t have been more perfect, as many heading to and from Galveston for the weekend’s Mardi Gras events will not be able to miss it.
