Today’s life lesson is brought to you by one of my kitties, Miss Autumn. After some cloudy and foggy days we haven’t had much sunshine. Today the sun was shining in the window bright and beautifully. Autumn is taking full advantage of it. She’s strictly an indoor cat, but this morning she decided to gaze out the window in her favorite place, watching the world go by, and soaking up some sunlight. Maybe we all can learn something from her and just quietly, peacefully, and joyfully appreciate the little bits of sunlight in our lives. There have been so many dark, dreary, and foggy days in the past year for many of us, and it has nothing to do with the weather. Our minds and spirits have not had many sun rays breaking through. I think those difficult days have clouded our thinking and feelings. Just for a little while, today I sat next to my sweet Autumn, by her favorite window to soak up some sun. I believe I should do it more often.
