As I am composing this, I must admit I am on pins and needles. It is not because my son is dealing with Covid 19. No, it’s not because the first of the month is coming and all my bills will be coming due. No, it’s not because my giant puppy is scratching and itching more than usual.
People, those are all true occurrences going on in my life. I am on pins and needles waiting for that cold front to get here! People up north make fun of me for wanting a true Autumn season because we honestly don’t get one. But having more tolerable temperatures for a few days gets me excited! Any day under 90 degrees is glorious. Any morning under 80 degrees makes you want to head for the nearest coffee shop to get a fall tasting drink. You want to fire up the oven that you have been using as little as possible because it heats up the house, and bake something delicious.
By the time you read this, our first Fall front will most likely have come and gone. But my wish for you is for more to come! Oh, and also for some hot cocoa with lots and lots of marshmallows and a beautiful fire to gaze at while enjoying it. Happy Fall Y’all.
