
Good afternoon from the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association! The TWIA Board of Directors will hold an interim meeting via Zoom on October 25, 2021, at 10:30am to review preliminary information related to the Association’s 2022 budget. The meeting will also be livestreamed on YouTube. The agenda for the meeting can be found here.
The TWIA Board traditionally approves the Association’s budget at its fourth quarterly meeting each year. TWIA staff will provide early information on next year’s budget to facilitate input from the Board before this year’s fourth quarter meeting.
The Board will NOT consider a rate filing at this meeting.
Providing Public Comment to the Board
Members of the public are invited to submit written comments via email at PublicComment@TWIA.org. Interested parties are encouraged to submit comments by noon on Friday, October 22 to enable the Board to receive and review them prior to the October 25 meeting. All written comments will be provided to the Board regardless of when they are received.
Written comments submitted to TWIA are subject to the Texas Public Information Act. TWIA may post public comments received, with personally identifiable information redacted, to its website.
Members of the public are also invited to provide verbal comments to the TWIA Board during the designated public comment portion of the meeting. Those wishing to make public comments during the meeting must register and log into the meeting via Zoom on a computer, tablet, smartphone, or telephone.
