Now or Never for HS Baseball Playoff Hopes

Friday is the regular season finale for the high school baseball season. Local teams who don’t have their playoff affairs in order by night’s end will see their 2025 campaigns end while getting a head start on the upcoming high school football season.

Wednesday: The Astros conclude their homestand with a 6:40 PM matchup against the Blue Jays. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 6 PM with the pregame show. The game will also be seen on MLB Network.

Game 2 of the Western Conference Quarterfinal round between the Warriors and Rockets starts at 8:30 PM. Space City Home Network 2 will begin the pregame show at 8:00 PM. The game will also be seen on TNT.

Thursday: The first round of the National Football League Draft gets underway at 7 PM. The Texans will select 25th overall, while the Cowboys will select 12th overall. ESPN and NFL Network will have pick-by-pick coverage, while KTRK13 will have more feature-like coverage.

Friday: The final regular season high school baseball games begin at 6 PM with Brazoswood at Clear Brook, Clear Creek at Clear Springs, Clear Falls at Clear Lake, and Deer Park at Dickinson. Ball at Santa Fe, Friendswood at Iowa Colony, and Texas City at Angleton begin at 7 PM.

The Astros visit the Royals for a 6:40 PM start. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 6 PM with the pregame show.

Saturday: The Astros face the Royals at 6:10 PM. Space City Home Network starts the pregame show at 5:30 PM. The game will also be seen on FS1.

The Dynamo host Austin FC at 7:30 PM. The match will be broadcast on the MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

Game 3 of the Warriors-Rockets series moves to the Bay Area. KTRK13 will have the game live at 7:30 PM.
