“It was my great honor to accept this afternoon, on behalf
of Project 7, this beautiful trophy! Project 7 was in the Texas
City Christmas Parade yesterday evening and won ‘Most
Religious Theme’!!
My heart is running over with both joy and pride for the
teens in Project 7 who worked so hard to make this happen!
I also want to thank several families who truly made this all
possible!
Jesse and Brenda Garza worked so hard in providing both
the trailer our float was on, as well as building the Manger
structure for the float. We are so grateful to you ?
Another thank you goes out to Rev. and Mrs. David Brinkly-
His Touch Worship Center. They provided all of the beautiful
costumes worn on the float! And to Lynn and Larry Leonhardt
who supplied us with all the beautiful Christmas lights we
used on our float!
A big thank you to Rev. and Mrs. Caleb McClain! Their
precious baby boy played the part of Baby Jesus, and Ingrid
played the part of the Virgin Mary. They added to the beauty
of our float!
Project 7 students played parts of Bible based characters
on the float, as well as there were those who walked along
side our float. They also contributed towards the candy
which they shared with the community! All in all, this was a
beautiful experience shared by all involved!!
I sincerely Pray God’s abundant Blessings on each and
every one of you who made this beautiful experience possible”“”
