Jay Carnes, 2017 Chamber Chairman, along with The
Board of Directors and Staff of the Texas City – La
Marque Chamber of Commerce requests your presence
for “Carneval de Venezia” the 48th Annual Membership
Banquet & Reception, the Chamber’s celebration of our
members.
Imagine walking through the streets of Venice, beautifully
dressed in your costume or evening attire with mask.
An evening of music and enchantment
is waiting for you. Also enjoy
the fanfare and revelry of the
“Grand March” …a celebration
walk for our Award Winners.
The Casanova Cocktail Party
starts at 6pm. You will be welcomed
with a glass of Casanova
prosecco. From the two buffets you
can taste Venetian fare while enjoying
the entertainment. When
the official program ends, the after
party starts. You can dance and
amuse yourself until 10pm. Open

Reserved Table(s) at $1000 per
table. A business table includes preferred seating for 8
people, centerpiece and a bottle of wine.
Individual Tickets $85 each (Open Seating)
A wine reception will be held at 6:30pm in the foyer
of the Doyle Convention Center and a Reception for our
Banquet Sponsors will be held at 6:30pm inside the banquet
room of the Doyle Convention Center. The banquet
will begin at 7:00.
2017 Chairman, Jay Carnes, Carnes Funeral Home,
will pass the gavel to the 2018 Chairman, Pete Dunn,
Dunn Heat. The Banquet program will include the presentation
and installation of the 2016 Chamber officers
and directors, as well as naming the Citizen of the Year,
Small Business of the Year, and the Leslie Hayley Community
Service Award. Your input is needed to nominate
citizens to be considered for these prestigious awards.

2017 AWARD NOMINATIONS:
Outstanding Citizen Award- This award is based on accomplishments
and community involvement for the year
2017.
Leslie Hayley Community Service Award- A citizen who
has continually demonstrated an unselfish commitment
to our community over the past several years.
Business of the Year- A locally owned business with
less than 100 employees, which has experienced outstanding
growth, demonstrated involvement in community
service and accomplishments or awards during 2017.
