REGISTRATION OPEN FOR LC CITIZEN POLICE ACADEMY

League City residents are encouraged to apply for the next session of the League City Citizen Police Academy, which begins on Tuesday, February 5, 2019. The Citizen Police Academy was formed in League City in 2002 and gives residents an opportunity to see how and why the League City Police Department operates as it does. There is a spring and fall class every year. The course is 15 weeks long with meetings once a week. Applicants must be employed in League City or be a resident, at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and pass a background check. Applications for the February class should be submitted by January 8, 2019, and can be scanned and emailed, sent by USPS mail or turned in at the police department.
