Don’t Drown

The last few weeks have been hectic for many of us. Threats of a hurricane with mandatory evacuations (for where I live), back to school craziness with a new twist for many children in schools and universities, and of course, still dealing with a pandemic. It is easy to become stressed and overwhelmed. I know I was feeling that way having to evacuate with my three fur babies. It took me a while to catch my breath and listen to that quiet voice inside me telling me I would and could get through it all. But stress has a way of drowning that voice of calm and reason out. It takes deliberate action to overcome it. It doesn’t happen otherwise. So if you find yourself drowning in stress, remember you have the power to make a change. Buckle up your life vest and give yourself permission to float!
