New Hope Baptist Church, located at 3610 FM 646 Road in Dickinson, will host a special service Retirement Service on September 20, 2020 from 10:00am to 2:00pm for former Pastor Dick Sumner, who pastored New Hope from 2003-2020. He pastored 52 years from 1968 to 2020. While he will still be available to fill pulpits, and provide short-term interim pastorates at churches between pastors, he has retired from full time ministry.
