Tired young caucasian woman after a jog

What is going on in this world? We have an active pandemic, states on the west coast on fire, and so many hurricanes churning that we are going to run out of names to give them. People are divided and downright mean over politics. I have had to take a few breaks of calm and quiet to stay grounded. I’ve had to remind myself to just breathe. I personally was dealing with my medical problems, money problems, and to top it all off my 90-pound puppy decided to have an upset digestive problem and pottied on some blankets. I went to wash them. I thought it had been long enough to get them into the dryer and the washer had not drained or spun. My property maintenance people didn’t get here to fix it till after the weekend. I sat myself in front of my television to catch my breath and to be distracted and my cable wasn’t working. All in all,  just small annoying things to have happen, but I found myself overreacting to all of it. I had to put myself into a self imposed timeout. I’m happy to report, it helped! There are times, even as a grownup we need to take a timeout. If it all feels like it too much, feel free to take one.  Trust me, it helps!
