It is that time of year again. Actors, writers, producers, costume designers, musical writers and performers, and a host of others in the production of movies will be given awards. Many people say “we don’t care about the Oscars.” Many will watch to see if one of their favorite actors wins. This past year, I am sure many of us have felt like we were starring in a really awful movie. I want to take a few minutes to honor each of you. If I could, I would pass out awards because they are so deserved. Every medical worker, first responder, each grocery worker, truck driver, delivery service, and essential worker should be given our utmost respect and honor. We see you. We are thankful to you. We are blessed because of you. “And the Oscar goes to” fill in the blank.
