Area pro teams take over schedule

Alas, it is that time of year where the high school sports winds down, and the glow of how your favorite NFL team receiving high grades from its draft. That means the slate is mostly owned by the Houston pro teams and a lot of work from AT&T Sportsnet Southwest.

There is a possibility of some bi-district round softball games being played on Monday, as persistent rain fell throughout the area on Friday, leaving the status of those games in question.

Sunday: The Astros close out their series at the Rays with a 12:10pm start that will be seen on AT&T Sportsnet Southwest, which begins its coverage at 11:30am with the pregame show.

A blistering hot Knicks team visits Toyota Center for its only visit this season to Houston. AT&T starts its coverage at 6:30pm, leading into the game itself at 7:00pm.

Monday: Nothing officially scheduled for the day.

Tuesday: The hallowed grounds of Yankee Stadium await the Astros, who open a three-game series against a Yankee squad that has sputtered for much of the early part of the regular season. ESPN will have national coverage of this clash at 6:00pm, with
