For yet another season, the Clear Creek Wildcat boys’ golf team has advanced to the state tournament after placing 2nd at the Region III-6A tournament. Senior Trey Ponce birdied his his last playoff hole to grab the 3rd place medalist spot. Creek will bid for a state title when they face off against the elite of Class 6A in the boys’ tournament, which will be held May 17-18 at Legacy Hills Golf Club in Georgetown.
