Former Dickinson defensive back Savien Arnett celebrates with the FCS national championship that he and Sam Houston State won on Sunday in a thrilling 23-21 decision over South Dakota. Arnett is one of four area alums who were a part of the Bearkats’ title team, joining Galveston Ball defensive backs Tristian and Zyon McCollum and Friendswood’s Trey Mappe.
