Friendswood High School senior Lily Hall organized the FHS vs ALS fundraiser for the ALS Association on October 6 at the FHS stadium. She held an “Ice Bucket Challenge” where students and staff teamed up to help raise support and awareness for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), more commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. With approximately 250 people in attendance, Lily was able to raise more than $30,000 for the ALS Association Texas Chapter.
According to Hall, the motivation for the fundraiser came from her uncle’s battle with the disease for the last six-and-a-half years.
“[ALS] is super close to my heart and is very underfunded, so I felt like if we raised funds, maybe one day we can find a cure and make this horrific disease go away,” Hall said.
Friendswood ISD Superintendent Thad Roher said he was impressed by the event.
“Lily shared her vision [for this event] with me before school started, so to see it come to fruition was incredible,” Roher said. “There is still so much good in this world and in our kids.”
Hall said she is grateful for the support given by her peers, FISD and the community.
“I want to say thank you so much to everyone who supported me throughout this,” Hall said. “Words cannot express how loved I feel.”

This was great, I have been researching for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you ever come across Healthherbsclinic com Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis HERBAL FORMULA (just google it). It is a smashing one of a kind product for reversing ALS completely. Ive heard some decent things about it and my buddy got amazing success with it.
Hope this is allowed here if not I understand. My husband was diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) when he was 63 years old 4 years ago. The Rilutek (riluzole) did very little to help him. The medical team did even less. His decline was rapid and devastating. His arms weakened first, then his hands and legs. He resorted to a wheelchair (Perbombil C300). A year ago, I began to do a lot of research and came across www Health Herbs Clinic com, I decided to start him on the ALS herbal protocol as I had nothing else to turn to; 2 months into treatment he improved dramatically. At the end of the full treatment course, the disease is totally under control. No case of dementia, hallucination, weakness, muscle pain and he is even learning to Walk again. visit healthherbsclinic com
