FHS Swim Shines as it Claims 20 Top Three Places at Fort Bend Dual Meet

On Tuesday Oct. 26, Friendswood High girls and boys 5A Swim and Dive claimed 20 of the Top Three places in competition versus Clements and Humble Atascocita high schools. The meet was held at the Don Cook Natatorium in Fort Bend, TX.  

The meet was scored as a dual meet, with Friendswood girls taking the win versus Humble Atascocita (102 points to 75 points) and Clements High narrowly taking the win versus Friendswood (91 points to 85 points). 

The boys team came second to both Humble Atascocita (57 points to 120 points) and Clements High (56 points to 118 points) but pulled out notable Top Three swims.

Girl’s 400-yard free relay: (2nd) KK LeBlanc, Peyton Becker, Leah Givens, Abigail Nelson and (4^th) Hallie Ratcliff, Alex Linden, Paige McCray, Bella Allen. 

Girl’s Diving: (1^st) Hannah Brantley.

Boy’s 200-yard medley relay: (3rd) Tony Laurito, Nick Hardt, Marshall Odom and Ethan Long and (6^th) Joshua Sakahara, Chayton Budzik, Talon Welch, Andrew Rubio. 

Boy’s 200-yard free relay: (4th) Ethan Long, Daniel Morgan, Tony Laurito, Marshall Odom. 

Boy’s 400-yard free relay: (4th) Joshua Sakahara, Talon Welch, Daniel Morgan, Nick Hardt.

Boy’s Diving: (2nd) Grayson Wells.
