GALVESTON, TX — The Galveston County Criminal District Attorney’s Office cordially invites you to join them for the 22nd Annual Tree of Angels Ceremony on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at 6:30 p.m., at the Galveston County Criminal Justice Center, 600 59th Street, Galveston, Texas. This year’s event will be a hybrid event, which combines a live in person event with a virtual online component for audience consideration.
The coming holidays are a difficult time for victims of violent crime and their families, but they can also be a time of reflection. The Tree of Angels ceremony provides a meaningful way to memorialize and honor loved ones who have been lost to violent crime.
The ceremony is a reverent forum where friends, family and community members may come together to remember, honor and support crime victims and their families. It is a time to celebrate the lives of crime victims and demonstrate their lasting value and significance. The District Attorney’s Office began hosting this ceremony over twenty years ago and each year reaffirms its commitment to seeing that justice is done for crime victims and their families.
