Santa Fe’s boys’ basketball team defeated Texas City 55-51 on Friday, marking the first time since January 22, 2008 that the Indians prevailed over the Stingarees, ending a stretch of 25 consecutive losses to their area rivals. Santa Fe is now 15-2 on the season and 2-1 in District 22-5A play entering Christmas week.
