| AUSTIN — A jackpot-winning ticket worth an estimated annuitized $26.75 million for the Lotto Texas® drawing held on Aug. 10 was purchased at Murphy USA 5695, located at 1803 N. Velasco St., in Angleton. The winning Quick Pick ticket matched all six of the numbers drawn (15-16-25-28-38-53). The cash value option was selected at the time of purchase and the claimant will receive $14,303,717.61 before taxes. The prize has not yet been claimed. The winner has 180 days from the draw date to claim the prize. The retailer that sold the jackpot-winning ticket may be eligible for a $25,000 bonus under the Texas Lottery’s Retailer Bonus Program.“What a night for our newest Lotto Texas jackpot winner,” said Courtney Arbour, executive director of the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, which oversees the Texas Lottery. “If that ticket is sitting on your counter, sign it right away, keep it safe, and consider reaching out to a financial advisor before coming to claim your prize. In addition to the jackpot-winning prize, 42,663 Lotto Texas tickets, including those with the Extra! add-on feature, won lower-tier prizes ranging from $2 to $14,327 for the same drawing. The jackpot for the next Lotto Texas drawing on Wednesday, Aug. 12 resets to an estimated annuitized $5 million.Lotto Texas is played by picking six numbers from one to 54 and offers multimillion-dollar jackpots. Drawings are held every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:12 p.m. CT.
