This past week the Houston Lawyers Association, a well respected longstanding organization of minority attorneys in the region, announced their endorsements in the 2020 election of Judge Lonnie Cox candidate in the Galveston County 56th judicial district.
Judge Cox has served Galveston County since 2005, most recently winning re-election in November, 2016 when he ran unopposed. A former 10-year veteran prosecutor is again a candidate for that office. Election day is November 3rd , early voting begins October 13 and ends October 30.
