The Astros provide reason to celebrate Labor Day as they return home to face a Mariners team still contending for an American League playoff spot. As usual, the Tuesday schedule will see a host of high school volleyball along with a dose of high school tennis.
Sunday: The Astros complete their lengthy road trip with a 3:10pm date at the Padres. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will provide coverage beginning with the pregame show at 2:30pm.
Monday: Labor Day wraps up with the Astros returning home for a set against the Mariners starting at 6:10pm. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest begins coverage at 5:30pm for the pregame show.
Tuesday: The high school volleyball schedule will start with Shadow Creek at Clear Falls at 5:30pm, followed by Clear Brook at Alvin, Dobie at Dickinson, La Porte at Friendswood, Galveston Ball at Manvel, La Marque at Brazosport, Nederland at Santa Fe and Texas City at Baytown Sterling at 6:30pm.
In high school tennis, Dickinson at Clear Springs starts at 3:00pm, followed by Clear Creek at Clear Lake at 4:00pm and Texas City at Friendswood at 4:30pm.
The Astros return to their usual 7:10pm slot when they continue their series against the Mariners. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest starts coverage at 6:30pm with the pregame show.
