What an exciting month December has been so far. Holiday preparation, even a
dusting of snow in the last month, the final 31 days of 2017. Looking back I see a
whirlwind of activity in our family, and not all of it good. It would be easy to let depression
settle in. To be honest, I’ve had to fight it off on more than one occasion.
We went into the new year with high hopes that it would be a year of spectacular
new horizons and blessings, but found that this was the year of what seemed like
endless trials and tribulations. I’m sure many of you, like me, wonder how you have
made it through. It’s is truly a combination of God’s grace, and your abilities to withstand
so much more than you ever thought possible. You are stronger than you ever
thought. You have more courage than you give yourself credit for. You have determination
that you didn’t realize you had. You have strength that is still untapped inside
you, and won’t surface until it’s needed. So remember to give yourself some credit
where credit is due. You have made it through, intact,
although maybe battered and bruised. You
are amazing! Never forget that. In this last month
, why not reflect on the year and look at what all
you have accomplished and made it through?
Let’s end the year on a high note. Celebrate the
good that you have done, all that you have accomplished,
all that you have weathered, Let’s make
this last month all that it can be. It is a magical
