Texas City, TX – Waitr’s huge success in Galveston has prompted another expansion – this time
to Texas City. The food delivery service debuts this week with the official launch set for Thursday,
November 8. The Waitr app lets you order from your favorite restaurant … then sends a
Waitr driver to deliver it to you for a flat fee of $5.
Waitr expects to hire 100 people in the area. Waitr will kick off its debut in Texas City with
special free delivery – anytime you use the app through November 18, you can get your food

Waitr is the top food delivery service in the Galveston area with more than half of restaurant
deliveries going through Waitr. It now has more than 70 area restaurants using the service.
