Lago Mar Opens Lagoon Information Center
(Texas City, Texas – April 2, 2019) With work progressing on the 12-acre Crystal Lagoons® amenity, Lago Mar has opened an information center to provide further details on this groundbreaking feature and the 70-acre mixed-use entertainment destination surrounding it.
The information center will be open 10am – 6pm Wednesdays through Sundays at 3240 Lago Mar Blvd, Texas City 77568.
“The information center is where visitors can get more details and updates on the Lago Mar lagoon, which will be the first of its kind to combine private residential beaches with retail and daily-fee access,” said Tim Johnson, Director of Community Sales and Marketing for Land Tejas, developer of Lago Mar.
Phase One of the Lagoon, expected to open in early 2020, is designed for resident access. It will feature white sand beaches and a residents clubhouse. Future phases are being designed for public access and will include multiple beaches, a floating obstacle course, a swim-up bar, a 10,000-square-foot beach club with cabana pool and the Treasure Island complex with a two-story building that will be able to host entertainment events, corporate outings, weddings and private functions.
This is Land Tejas’ second crystal clear lagoon. The company opened the first Crystal Lagoons® amenity in Texas last year in its Balmoral community.
Lago Mar is a 2,033-acre community located along Interstate 45 in Texas City just 14 miles north of Galveston.
