The Keep La Marque Beautiful Commission is hosting Fall Sweep from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2020, at La Marque City Hall. Citizens of La Marque are invited to drop off unwanted household furniture, tree limbs or large bulk items at 1111 Bayou Road free of charge. Free tire recycling is also available for car and light truck tires. Masks and social distancing are required, and sanitation stations will be available for participants. Volunteer street teams, shredding and contests are on hold this year as a COVID-19 safety precaution for our citizens, volunteers and city staff.
