Dickinson High School alum and Texas A&M tight end Jalen Wydermyer continues to gain traction as a potential first round pick in the 2022 NFL draft. The incoming junior enters this fall as the best pro prospect at his position, and would be the county’s first first round selection since the Super Bowl champion Buccaneers selected Galveston Ball alum Mike Evans with the seventh overall selection of the 2014 draft.
