Texas City head football coach Leland Surovik and assistant coach Dvonta Hinton were all smiles after the Stingarees closed out the regular season with a 35-7 rout of Barbers Hill on Friday, giving the Stings a 9-1 overall record heading into its bi-district round game against Houston Sterling on Friday night. The game will mark the first time in school history that Texas City played a postseason game on its own field.
