Road to Super Bowl Begins For Texans, Cowboys

The Texans and Cowboys enter the 2024 NFL season optimistic about Super Bowl 59 in February. Both open with tough matchups on the road.

Sunday: The Texans begin the 2024 regular season at noon at AFC South rival Indianapolis. KHOU11 will have the game live. The Cowboys open their regular season by visiting Cleveland at 3:25 pm, with KRIV26 airing the game live.

The Astros close the series against the Diamondbacks before an ESPN audience at 6:00 pm.

Monday: No games scheduled.

Tuesday: The high school volleyball schedule has Clements at Clear Creek and La Marque at El Campo at 6:00 pm. Angleton at Ball, Travis at Clear Brook, Clear Falls at Shadow Creek, Clear Springs at Atascocita, Hightower at Dickinson, Friendswood at La Porte, Nederland at Santa Fe, and Texas City at Iowa Colony start at 6:30 pm.

The team tennis schedule starts at 3:00 pm with Clear Brook at Dickinson, Deer Park at Clear Falls, and Clear Springs at Clear Lake. Brazoswood at Clear Creek is at 3:30 pm, followed by Friendswood at Iowa Colony at 4:00 pm and Texas City at Ball at 4:30 pm.

After a day off, the Astros welcome the Athletics to Minute Maid Park at 7:10 pm. Space City Home Network starts coverage at 6:30 pm with the pregame show.

Dickinson alum Rodney Bimage Jr. recorded one tackle during Arizona State’s 48-7 win over Wyoming, his first collegiate game.
