Bolivar: GOOD. 77 Degrees. Speckled trout have been good near the bridge as well as along the surf and have been biting on topwaters. Redfish have been in the pass and are good on shrimp or soft plastics. Black drum are good around vegetation or structure on crab or shrimp. Flounder are fair around the rocks on shrimp.

Trinity Bay: GOOD. 78 degrees. Fishing the birds, working structures, and wading the flats are the best methods to fish for redfish and speckled trout. The wading is along the northwestern and eastern sides of the bay. Flounder are fair on minnow around the rocks.

East Galveston Bay: GOOD. 77 degrees. Speckled trout and redfish will be found in the surf or around the reefs and are best on live shrimp and down south lures. Black drum are good in the channels on cut bait. Sheepshead are fair and will be found primarily around the jetties using shrimp.

West Galveston Bay: FAIR TO GOOD. 77 degrees. Redfish and speckled trout are found in the surf, along the shorelines, and around the jetties and are best on shrimp and down south lures. Sheepshead are fair and will be found primarily around the jetties using shrimp. Black drum are caught using shrimp or crab around structures or vegetation.

Texas City: GOOD. 75 degrees. Redfish are fair to good over the flats on live bait. Flounder are good on live bait around the jetties or around the rocks. Speckled trout are fair to good along the shoreline on shrimp. Black drum are good on shrimp or crab around vegetation.

Freeport: GOOD. 77 degrees. Redfish will be found along the flats or shoreline and are best on shrimp or topwaters early in the day. Speckled trout are fair to good on shrimp in the shallows along the shoreline. Sheepshead will be found around the oyster reefs and are good on live bait. Flounder are good around the rocks on mullet. Black drum are good on shrimp around vegetation.

East Matagorda Bay: GOOD. 76 degrees. Wading and drifting remain to be the best methods around areas that have a mix of mud and shell bottoms. Black drum are good on blue crab or shrimp. Speckled trout are found in channels around grass flats. Redfish are good on live bait along the shoreline. Flounder are good on shrimp around the rocks.

West Matagorda Bay: FAIR TO GOOD. 76 degrees. Speckled Trout are found in channels around grass flats. Black drum are fair on blue crab around structure or vegetation. Redfish are good on soft plastics around the reefs and shorelines.

Port O’Connor: GOOD. 76 degrees. Speckled trout and redfish are excellent down south on lures around the pass. Brown shrimp and croaker have been moving into the pass. Black drum are fair on blue crab or shrimp in the channels. Flounder are good around the jetties on shrimp or minnow. Sheepshead are fair near the rocks on live minnow.

Rockport: GOOD. 77 degrees. Redfish are good using shrimp or mullet around the flats and edges. Speckled trout are fair using topwaters along the shoreline, shallows, or around the mid-bay reefs. Flounder have been fair on mullet around the piers and Rockport wall. Black drum are fair using blue crab or shrimp fishing and are found around grass beds.
