The final week of high school football’s regular season begins on Thursday as teams seeking to continue their 2025 campaigns get one last opportunity to solidify their playoff positioning. Bi-district round schedules will become available on Saturday.
Wednesday: The Rockets visit the Grizzlies at 7 PM. Space City Home Network begins coverage at 6:30 PM with the pregame show.
Thursday: The final week of the high school football regular season begins with Clear Lake at Clear Falls (Challenger Columbia) at 6 PM, followed by Santa Fe at Rosenberg Terry at 7 PM.
Friday: High school football begins at 7 PM with Ball at Lufkin, Brazoswood at Clear Brook (Challenger Columbia), Clear Springs at Clear Creek (Veterans Memorial), state-ranked Dickinson at Deer Park, and Iowa Colony at Texas City (Victory Sportsnet Broadcast).
The opening night of the girls’ high school basketball season begins with Willowridge at state-ranked Hitchcock and Texas City at La Marque at 4:30 PM, followed by Clear Creek at Houston Memorial at 5:30 PM. Randle at Ball, Clear Falls at La Porte, and Ridge Point at Clear Springs begin at 7 PM, while Brazoswood at Santa Fe begins at 7:30 PM.
The Rockets visit the Spurs at 6:30 PM, with the game being broadcast live on Prime Video.
Saturday: The college football schedule starts with UAB at Rice (ESPN+) at 1 PM, followed by Prairie View at Alabama A&M, Texas Southern at Alabama State, and Stephen F. Austin at Houston Christian (ESPN+) at 2 PM. Third-ranked Texas A&M takes on #19 Missouri (KTRK13) at 2:30 PM, while Southeastern Louisiana faces Lamar (ESPN+) at 3 PM. Sam Houston State at Oregon State (KHTV39) is at 9 PM.
Girls’ basketball will have Iowa Colony facing Dickinson at Delmar Fieldhouse at 10 AM.
Boys’ basketball scrimmages include Clear Brook at Pasadena Memorial and Clear Creek at Pearland at 9 AM, followed by Ridge Point at Clear Springs and Texas City at Leland at 10 AM. State-ranked Friendswood at Stafford is at 1 PM. Santa Fe at Willis does not have a start time as of Monday.
