Friendswood High School had eight seniors sign letters of intent on Wednesday’s National Signing Day. Braden DeCuir (boys’ soccer) will attend the University of Dallas while Michael Black (boys’ soccer) will play for Trinity University. Girls’ golfer Heidi Demel will attend St. Francis College, Elizabeth Schexnaider (water polo) will head to Wittenburg University and Catherine Sims (cross-country) will attend Louisiana State University. Connor Haines (football) will attend Texas Lutheran University while teammate Ryan Helton will go to Stephen F. Austin University. Fellow football player Trey Mappe will attend Sam Houston State University.
