La Marque alum Kobe Gatson is among several local players seeking starting roles on the Central Methodist University (MO) football team. Gatson, a sophomore, is competing for the starting quarterback spot for the Eagles, while Dickinson’s Brice Walker returns for his senior season as a starting safety. Walker will be joined in the secondary by former Clear Springs standout Darian Bell, who enters his junior year with the team. CMU opens its 2020 season on September 12 at home against Grand View.
