High school sports slate keeps Marching on

Spring break is approaching, but don’t tell that to the high school sports schedule, which begins the week with a fully-loaded slate of soccer, baseball and softball.

Sunday: Nothing on the schedule.

Monday: The high school baseball schedule has Dobie at Clear Brook at 5:30pm, followed by Barbers Hill at Clear Creek at 6:00pm.

Meanwhile, the high school girls’ soccer slate has Texas City at Baytown Sterling at 6:00pm, with Clear Springs at Dickinson at 6:15pm and Clear Falls at Deer Park at 7:30pm.

In high school boys’ soccer, Clear Brook at Dickinson and Clear Creek at Clear Falls each start at 7:30pm.

Tuesday: A big night of high school baseball will have St. Thomas at Clear Falls, Clear Springs at Kincaid, Goose Creek Memorial at Friendswood, Galveston Ball at Baytown Lee, High Island at La Marque, Santa Fe at Baytown Sterling and Texas City at Manvel all beginning at 6:00pm. Hitchcock at Danbury get underway at 7:00pm.

The high school softball schedule will have Hitchcock at Danbury at 5:00pm, followed by La Marque at Bay City at 6:00pm. Clear Brook at Clear Falls, Clear Creek at state-ranked Dickinson, Clear Lake at Clear Springs, La Porte at Friendswood and Galveston Ball at Manvel all start until 6:30pm.

Home stretch of the high school boys’ soccer regular season will have Manvel at Friendswood, Texas City at Galveston Ball, Hampshire-Fannett at La Marque and Santa Fe at Goose Creek Memorial at 7:30pm.

The high school girls’ soccer regular also winds down with Hampshire-Fannett at La Marque at 5:30pm, followed by Clear Creek at Clear Lake, Friendswood at Manvel, Galveston Ball at Texas City and Goose Creek Memorial at Santa Fe each beginning at 7:30pm.
