Willie Edward Price, Jr. (“Ed”) born on December 31, 1956, went home to be with the Lord in late July of 2020.

Ed graduated from Texas City High School and was a lifelong resident of Texas City. He was a certified welder having developed his trade through his lifetime of employment as a boilermaker and pipefitter at Marathon Oil Co. and later Farmers Marine Copper Works. Ed was Blessed with having a natural skill of carpentry and made many pieces of furniture for his friends and family. Ed enjoyed reading his Bible and witnessing to others, was an avid fisherman and gun enthusiast, and loved golfing and working out.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Edward Price, Sr. (“Bill”) and Jessie Price, and his only child, Willie Edward Price III. He leaves behind his two sisters, Darlene Muns of Waco, Tx., and Jerry Ann Belville of Santa Fe, Tx., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ed will be laid to rest with family at Sunnyside Cemetery in Calvert, Tx. at a future date.

The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23.
