If you have some down time early this week, take in a high school sporting event. Check out Tuesday, where a host of high school softball games will have early starts while the cool evening weather makes for a good time to watch high school baseball.
Sunday: The Rockets host the Celtics for a 7:00pm clash at Toyota Center. AT&T Sportsnet Southwest will begin coverage with the pregame show at 6:30pm.
Monday: In high school boys’ soccer, Clear Brook at Clear Springs and Clear Creek at Clear Falls each start at 7:30pm.
The sole high school girls’ soccer match will have Clear Springs at Clear Brook at 7:30pm.
Friendswood travels to Baytown Lee for a high school softball match at 5:30pm.
Tuesday: A busy day of high school softball begins at 12:30pm with Clear Brook at state-ranked Dickinson, followed at 1:00pm with Galveston Ball at state-ranked Santa Fe and Hitchcock at Brazos. La Marque at Columbia begins at 6:00pm, while Clear Lake at Clear Creek and Clear Springs at Brazoswood each start at 6:30pm.
It will be high school baseball under the lights as Clear Lake at Clear Brook, Brazoswood at Clear Creek, Dickinson at Clear Falls, Galveston Ball at Baytown Sterling and Texas City at Santa Fe all start at 6:00pm. Brazos at Hitchcock and La Marque at Bay City are 7:00pm starts.
Former Rockets center Clint Capela and the high-scoring Hawks make their sole appearance to Toyota Center this season for a 7:00pm date that will air on AT&T Sportsnet Southwest. Coverage begins with the pregame show at 6:30pm.
