More than two dozen foursomes hit the links at Texas City’s Bayou Golf Club on Tuesday for the annual Juneteenth Golf Tournament. The event was sponsored by Amoco Credit Union, BP, Gamma Construction, Charles Brooks, Strategic Construction, Steven Little Realty, Wattbridge, Kappa Alpha Psi. Fraternity, Inc., and South Region Driving School.
The event was also sponsored in loving memory of longtime Texas City Parks and Recreations Director Jay Williams, who passed away on January 27. Norris and Gwen Williams, his brother and sister-in-law, were also sponsors of this year’s Tournament.
