ABUNDANT LIFE GIVES 100’S OF SMILES

What a morning!! Hundreds of kids ages 5 to 12 were
blessed with toys on December 17 for The Annual Grand
Giveaway. A big thank you to the ALCC Ladies Ministry
for donating stockings and Operation Blessing International
and Convoy of Hope for your generous donations.
Operation Blessing International (OBI) is a nonprofit
501(c)(3) humanitarian organization dedicated to demonstrating
God’s love by alleviating human need and suffering
in the United States and around the world. One of
the largest charities in America, Operation Blessing provides
strategic relief in 39 countries on an ongoing basis
through core programs such as disaster relief, health
and medical care, hunger relief, vulnerable children and
orphan care, safe water and community development.
We put a special emphasis on not only providing physical
relief to those in immediate need, but also equipping
them with new knowledge to create
sustainable solutions to combat poverty.
Through hygiene education, lifeskills
training, community gardens
and more, Operation Blessing is committed
to being God’s hands and feet
in the world. With an “Ask, Don’t Tell”
mentality, Operation Blessing’s efforts
address the core issues behind
poverty, rather than only treating the
symptoms.
A Convoy of Hope helps families in
desperate need. Local churches,
businesses, community service and
health organizations partner with us to provide guests
with groceries,
medical
and dental
screenings,
prayer, haircuts,
lunch,
veteran services,
BIKES,
shoes, job
and career
services and
more. Approximately
$1,000,000 in
goods an services
have
been provided
to guests
who attend
their events.
