AS DICKINSON REBUILDS STARFINE FURNITURE MOVES UP!

Galveston’s StarFine Furniture has opened a new location
in Dickinson, Texas. The new store is at 3503 Gulf Freeway,
off I-45 at Exit 19. “We promise unique looks and
great prices,” said Jody Stein, President of Galveston’s
StarFine Furniture & Mattress, “So we are displaying Flexsteel,
Palliser, Bernhardt, Restonic Mattresses, BedTech
Mattresses and other quality brands that are affordable.”
“We like to think much of what we display is real furniture
for real people. It’s furniture that’s not made to wear out
in three to five years and, by the same token, you’re not
paying an arm and a leg for premium items that can last a
lifetime.” Although the new Dickinson store is smaller than
the Galveston StarFine Furniture & Mattress store, Stein
says that if something advertised in print or online isn’t on
display in the Dickinson store, they can have it delivered
from their Galveston store or warehouse.
Dickinson store hours will be different than those at
the Galveston store. The Dickinson store will be open
Monday-Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday Noon –
6 p.m. Galveston’s StarFine Furniture has been a fixture
in Galveston for over 97 years. Jody Stein took over the
reins of the store from his father, Ben Jay in 2016, when
Ben Jay announced his retirement. “We try to showcase a
variety of goods,” said Stein, “so people can find different styles,
colors and fabric or leather coverings that fit nearly any budget.
And many of the furniture brands we carry can be customized to
