The Marine Corps’ Silent Drill Platoon from Marine Barracks Washington will be performing during halftime of the Houston Texans Salute to Service Football Game this Sunday at NRG Stadium.
The Silent Drill Platoon’s performance will be their first under the leadership of Marine Captain Nick Maguire. Captain Maguire assumed the billet of Silent Drill Platoon Commander from Captain Isaac Seals Nov.22.
Sunday also marks the homecoming of Houston native Corporal Steven Almaquer and Sergeant Chase Furlough, Orange, TX. Sergeant Furlough is a 2016 graduate of Orangefield High School. Sergeant Furlough is a 2018 graduate of Deer Park High School.
