Children bouncing on trampoline

Looking for some alternative ways to keep you moving during pandemic closures?   Bike rides and walks around the neighborhood are great but if you looking to spice things up a bit, one of the newest trends for an at-home workout is trampolining.

Trampolines are a fun way to get your heart rate up and provide an intense cardio workout. Whether it’s a small exercise trampoline in the house, or a large one you have in the back yard for the kids, trampolining maintains a cardio focus but reduces impact by 40%, which makes is easier on the joints and less likely for joint-related injuries. Another great benefit of trampolining is it also increases lymphatic flow, which helps rid the body of toxins. Rebounding on the trampoline can increase lymphatic flow as much as 15 times, giving your immune system a huge boost. An extra 30 minutes on the trampoline can burn up to 500 calories, making it a perfect choice if you are short on time. Trampolines start around $30 for your basic exercise needs, but do go up in price based on size and accessories, which include things such as handles, resistance bands, and jump/calorie counter.

If you’re still uncertain about a jump routine, browse through some YouTube videos or your favorite social media platform for inspiration. A few of my favorites to get me motivated (on Instagram) are Jumping Class Fitness and Jump Street Fitness.

So turn up the music, get the whole family involved and see how many songs you can jump through before needing a break. The important thing to remember is no matter what your health goal, just keep moving.

I must urge anyone to use caution when interacting with this individual, Samantha Copeland. I have seen first hand what she is capable of with very dear family friends. She is a complete fraud. She pretends to practice a certain lifestyle to gain your trust, then uses you for financial and personal gain. To say she is a homewrecker is an understatement. Feel free to email me for documentation and reports of her poor massage therapy practice from TDLR, and manipulation covered by her yoga business. It is a disappointment that such a reputable newspaper would allow such a person to write for them.
